Winter Arrives

Lows-jpg.jpg

by Marko

Winter officially arrived early Sunday morning though from California to New York its been here for a couple of weeks now. Snow cover is coast to coast stretching down to Arizona. This has been the snowiest pre Chrismas in 20 years. So much for Global Warming. The snow isn't the only perpetrator. It's in cahoots with cold and windy weather in the rest of the country.

Only south Florida seems to be expect from a brutal start to winter. If you are looking for relief The Old Farmers Almanac predicts this nasty tread to continue to keep you skating in parking garages and indoor parks through February. The first day of winter is known as The Winter Solstice and also marks the shortest day of the year for sun light. So keep in mind every cold windy snowy day that goes by you are closer to the long sunny days of summer.
