Andy Macdonald Wins Dew for First Time

The saying goes "always a bride's maid but never a bride." That must be how Andy Macdonald has felt at the Dew Tour for the past four years. Until now. Mr. Consistancy finally took that final step. Literaly one step up the second place platform to the top at first. Andy Mac has stood on the podium more without winning than any other skater at Dew. He has four 3rd place and two 2nd place finishes. AST quoted Andy saying, “For me it’s like the Boston Red Sox winning the championship. I broke the curse.” Andy is Boston native. Congratulations to him and good luck in Orlando.


As for the Cup Standings Bucky Lasek has 325, Bob Burnquist 320 and Andy Macdonald 315.
All of this sets up for another a third skater to win the Dew Cup.
