The Life of Tyler?
I don't know if this post will help or hurt Tyler Hendley, but here we go. Tyler Hendley is what MTV will be looking for this year, some one new to market. Relatively undiscovered, the Forest Pro has started to get some coverage as of late. He has back to back podium appearance. Last December in the 100 degree heat of the U.A.E, Tyler placed 1st in the premier addition of X Games Dubai. Just two moths ago I saw him skate in China at the Asian X Games were he got second. If he did not choke in a third run he would have got 1st. Check out his run.
"White Chocolate" Tyler should sail through the open Qualifier on Wednesday. Then he has a good chance of making the cut to the Finals. I know those same credentials are carried by a hand full of Dew Tour skaters. What makes him different is his star is rising. Young, but not Chaz Ortiz young, he is easy on the eyes for the masses of 15 year old girls (MTV’s target demographic) at the Dew stops.
Just when you thought I was going to hate on the Dew Tour, I'm not. This is just a small observation about how MTV will be out there and have their eyes focused on new talent for development.
