When World Ruled the World

There once was a day when World Industries wasn't sold at Dicks Sporting Goods, they had the best pros on the planet, they were way ahead of their time, and they made videos that could'nt be touched.
Well for years YouTube has been scowered for any clips from the amazing videos put out by World. Lucky for us (The excited sheep I mean Holiday shoppers) they are available on DVD! The great Rubbish Heap (an unlikely classic), then the short but inspiring Two World Industries Men (featuring Randy Colvin one of the only pros ever to push mongo!).
Hard to believe but the third release from World Love Child came out in 1992. Most of the skating in that video still holds up. The soundtrack, the editing was clean, that video is amazing! New World Order is probably one of my least favorite. In 1993 things were kinda gangster in skateboarding, alot of negativity, and its kind of reflected in this video. 20 Shot, well things were still kind of gangster, its still a good video just because the skateboarding cant be denied.
This one will make you miss Kareem Campbell, that guy was so good. I met him and Jason Lee when they came to Baltimore, we skated a parking garage and Jason Lee gave me his pants. Yeah. They were definitely cool. Jason Lee and Kareem and the pants too. Oh yeah, Ronnie Creager is and forever will be the shit. That guy has more talent then my mom, I guess thats a given, but I could watch his 20 Shot part all day! Trilogy is good but its no 20 Shot. They are all worth owning!

I havent seen the bonus features yet but they sound great! Buy it its worth the $39.99. That's a small price to pay for such rich skateboard history!
