Rodney Jones: Hot Rod

After a cold summer on the AST Dew tour, Rodney Jones is hot again. Jones placed no higher than 9th in the past five contest. Until he went to the LG Championships in Dallas. Last year he placed 7th in the street event. After cruising the big transitioned course that was set up for bikers and skaters, I could tell by the shit grin on his face, Jonesy would do well. Rodney, a street and mini ramp skater, loves a 8' ramp as much as the tre flips down a ten step. Two strong Prelim runs put him in 7th for the finals on Sunday. Rodney charged it and placed 4th. Congradulations to him! Look for Rodney to enter the Volcom mini ramp contest coming January 08 in Orlando.
